The South African Weather Service SAWS has issued an Orange Level 9 warning for rain resulting in widespread flooding for Sunday into Monday over the eastern areas of Mopani District Municipality of Limpopo and Bushbuckridge Local Municipality of Mpumalanga as well as Collins Chabane Local Municipality.
This comes after the province has already received a large amount of rain.
An Orange Level 6 warning is also in place for the escarpment of Mpumalanga and Limpopo.
