Wilfred Ndidi of Leicester City was subject to a transfer interest from English Premier League giants, Manchester United
Leicester City have reportedly accepted an improved bid from Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas for Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi , eyed by Manchester United, Soccernet.ng understands.
This development comes just days after Leicester turned down an initial 7 million offer from Besiktas for the Nigerian midfielder.
The new offer is believed to be closer to the 9.5 million release clause in Ndidi's contract , which became active following the Foxes' relegation from the Premier League last season.
Nigerian journalist Buchi Laba confirmed the latest breakthrough via his official X formerly Twitter account, stating that the deal is "100 confirmed" and aligns with Ndidi's long-standing desire to leave the Championship side.
