The National Taxi Alliance has criticised law enforcement agencies for allegedly failing to root out the long, ongoing taxi warfare between industry associations.
Taxi bosses in Gauteng are living in fear after a surge in murders, including the killing of the Alexandra Randburg Midrand Sandton Taxi Association ARMSTA chairperson Victor Moekeletsi and his bodyguard yesterday.
This follows the murder of Gauteng NTA chairperson Thami Moyo last month despite several rival taxi associations across the country having signed peace agreements.
