A landslide that destroyed a village in western Sudans Darfur region has left at least 1 000 people dead.
The Sudan Liberation Movement Army announced that a village in the Marra Mountains had been entirely destroyed after days of rainfall.
The country is in the grips of a catastrophic civil war between the Sudanese Army and the Rapid Support Forces.
