Real Madrid have congratulated Barcelona after their eternal rivals were confirmed LaLiga winners on Thursday night.
Barca beat Espanyol 2-0, thanks to goals from Lamine Yamal and Fermin Lopez, to displace Los Blancos as the champions.
In a terse tweet after the match, Madrids official X handle wrote: Congratulations to FCBarcelona on their 2024-2025 LaLiga title.
The win means Real Madrid cannot catch Barca at the top of the table, as they are now seven points clear with two fixtures left.
Hansi Flicks men have now completed a superb domestic treble.
