Crime Intelligence Head, Dumisani Khumalo says when he was appointed to lead the division, he found abuse of funds, fraud and corrupt practices.
Khumalo is appearing before the Ad Hoc Committee probing allegations of criminality, political interference and corruption in the criminal justice system.
He is also the Project Manager for the Political Killings Task Team PKTT which Police Minister, Senzo Mchunu tried to disband at the end of 2024.
