The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park in the Northern Cape has in the past few days experienced exceptional rainfall, with Nossob Rest Camp recording an impressive 109 millimetres of rain, an unusual occurrence for this part of the Kalahari.
The rest of the park also received significant rainfall and will see the transformation of Red Kalahari sands transform into a lush green landscape.
SanParks says minor damage to their properties is being fixed.
