The Kenya School of Government KSG held a high-level strategic engagement with Huawei Kenya on January 9, 2026, aimed at shaping the "KSG of the Future" and advancing the digital transformation of Kenya's public sector. The discussions focused on leveraging emerging technologies to enhance leadership development, institutional efficiency, and innovation across government institutions.
Key points included exploring the development of a strategic Memorandum of Understanding MoU to anchor long-term collaboration between KSG and Huawei. The MoU would focus on executive digital capacity building, knowledge transfer, and alignment with national digital transformation priorities, positioning KSG as a center of excellence for public sector digital leadership in Kenya.
The meeting brought together senior KSG leadership, including Director General Prof. Nura Mohamed, the Senior Director of Academic Affairs, Senior Director of Finance and Administration, Director of Linkages and Collaborations, Director of Baringo Campus, and officials from Procurement and ICT departments. Huawei Kenya was represented by Mr. Yuta Leng, Mr. Michael Kamau, Mr. Vincent Kipchirchir, and Mr. Steve Zeng, Senior Solutions Manager, among others.
