Hon. William Kabogo Gitau officially launched public Wi-Fi at Kabartonjo Market in Baringo North, marking a significant step toward economic empowerment and digital inclusion in the community. The free, high-speed internet service aims to provide traders with access to online markets, support students and youth with learning resources, and connect residents to essential digital services.
During the visit, officials also engaged with the Kabartonjo Post Office to explore strategies for enhancing digital postal services, making government and commercial services more accessible and efficient. The launch was attended by PS ICT and Digital Economy Eng. John Tanui, Baringo North MP Hon. Joseph Makilap, and other local leaders committed to advancing the region's digital transformation.
