Rwandas President Paul Kagame has accused the Democratic Republic of the Congo of delaying the signing of a US-brokered peace deal aimed at ending the M23 conflict in eastern DRC. The DRCs Minister of Communication, Patrick Muyaya has rejected the accusation and blamed Rwanda, which he accused of refusing to withdraw its troops from Congolese territory.
Tensions between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo are showing no signs of easing, despite mediation efforts by the US and Qatar.
