Economic Freedom Fighters EFF leader Julius Malema has admitted that he calls suspended South African Police Service SAPS Deputy National Commissioner for Crime Detection, Lt-Gen Shadrack Sibiya, whenever he has policing issues to raise.
However, Sibiya is not his friend, he insisted on Tuesday 21 October at Parliaments ad hoc committee investigating allegations made by SAPS KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner Lt-Gen Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
Mkhwanazi has alleged that Sibiya withdrew Political Killings Task Team case dockets from KwaZulu-Natal to the SAPS head office to stop investigations against alleged criminal syndicates.
