Jose Mourinho has been reportedly sacked by Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce following the club's failure to qualify for the Champions League after they were eliminated by Benfica in the playoff round on Wednesday.
The 62-year-old Special One had been in charge of Fenerbahce since June 2024. Mourinho oversaw a second place finish in the Turkish Super Lig, 11 points behind champions, and arch-rivals, Galatasaray.
Mourinho's spell in Turkey has been turbulent, including an incident in April when he grabbed the nose of Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk in the Istanbul derby, earning him a three-match ban and a fine.
