The Miami Dolphins will host the Washington Commanders in unfamiliar territory this season, marking the first time an NFL regular-season game will be played in Spain.
The NFL confirmed on Tuesday that the matchup is set for Week 11 on Nov. 16 at 9:30 a.m. Eastern at the iconic Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, home of Real Madrid.
There had been speculation for months that the Dolphins would be part of the historic event.
Now, it's confirmed they'll take on a rising Commanders squad led by dynamic sophomore quarterback Jayden Daniels, who helped push Washington to a spot in NFC Championship Game last season, where they fell to the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, 55-23.
The Dolphins, meanwhile, come into 2025 with playoff expectations once again in place.
