Inter Miami stayed on the road Wednesday night as they faced off against the New England Revolution in an Eastern Conference battle.
Inter Miami took a quick first half lead in the 27th minute after forward Lionel Messi scored his 13th goal of the Major League Soccer season.
It didn't take Messi much to net his second of the night, as he scored 11 minutes later.
That second goal gave Inter Miami a 2-0 lead, and also helped Messi break a new record in the MLS.
He became the first player in MLS history to score multiple goals in four straight league games, all of which were wins.
