Infoblox, a leading provider of hybrid, multi-cloud networking and preemptive security solutions, has announced a definitive agreement to acquire Axur, a global company specializing in AI-powered external threat detection and disruption. The acquisition, which is subject to regulatory approvals and standard closing conditions, is aimed at expanding Infobloxs capabilities in combating threats beyond traditional network perimeters.
The move comes as modern cyberattacks increasingly originate outside corporate networkson fake websites, social media platforms, app stores, and search ads. Scott Harrell, President and CEO of Infoblox, emphasized that organizations need earlier visibility and faster disruption of threats, including phishing, fraud, and brand abuse campaigns.
Axur extends our preemptive security offering by giving customers the ability to see and stop these threats earlier with rapid, AI-powered detection and takedowns.
