India came out to bat first in the second One-Day International ODI against South Africa at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur on Wednesday, December 3. They bring along their 1-0 lead into the game and will hope to seal the three-match series today itself. However, the Proteas entered the match to show a fight as skipper Temba Bavuma came back for the Proteas.
Toss UpdateThe toss was yet again won by South Africa, however, Bavuma was the skipper to have called it correctly this time round. He confirmed his team's decision to bowl first without much idea of the pitch. India lost their 20th toss in a row, extending their own record. With him being in, the visiting side had to make a forced change, with a couple of strategical additions to their Playing XI as well.

Apart from Bavuma, South Africa also welcomed Lungi Ngidi and Keshav Maharaj to their line-ups in place of Ryan Rickelton, Ottneil Baartman and Prenelan Subrayen.
