Head coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Eric Sekhou Chelle , was delighted his side were able to seal a 2-0 win over Rwanda in Kigali yesterday evening,
The 47-year-old Malian was appointed as the head coach of the three-time AFCON champions back in January, and was immediately tasked with leading Nigeria to the 2026 FIFA World Cup after a dreadful start to their qualifiers.
A brace from Victor Osimhen was enough to seal all three points for the Super Eagles against Rwanda and Chelle was delighted to have gotten a win on his debut as Nigerias head coach.
