Inkatha Freedom Party IFP and Democratic Alliance DA members and supporters are expected to protest outside the KwaZulu-Natal legislature in Pietermaritzburg on Monday in solidarity with Premier Thami Ntuli .

The uMkhonto we Sizwe MK Party tabled a motion of no confidence in Ntuli, which parties will vote on today.

MK Party members held a night vigil outside the legislature ahead of the crucial vote. The party, which has 37 seats in the 80-seat chamber, hopes to get enough votes to unseat the current government of provincial unity consisting of the IFP, ANC, DA and NFP.
