The Independent Financial Advisors Forum IFAF has criticised the City of Tshwane for proceeding with a tender to appoint a single medical aid broker for its employees.
IFAF, a non-profit organisation representing accredited brokers, first flagged concerns last month. It says the contract, which the City has advertised, is irregular and unlawful.
IFAF also says the medical aid brokerage tender violates employees rights to choose an alternative medical aid broker.
