The International Criminal Court ICC has confirmed that Ugandas fugitive warlord Joseph Kony has been charged with war crimes and crimes against humanity in absentia.
The leader of the rebel Lords Resistance Army faces 39 counts.
They include murder, rape, use of child soldiers and sexual slavery committed between 2002 and 2005.
