Huawei has signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU with Yassir, establishing a long-term strategic partnership aimed at advancing Algeria's digital transformation and reinforcing its role in the regional technology ecosystem. The signing ceremony took place at Yassirs headquarters in the capital, attended by executives Tony Shi and Noureddine Taybi, alongside management teams from both companies, followed by a press briefing outlining the partnership's objectives and plans.
The collaboration combines Huawei's global ICT expertise with Yassirs position as a leading digital services and mobile payments platform across the Middle East and Africa. The partnership focuses on building advanced digital infrastructure and delivering innovative, scalable solutions for both organizations and end users.
Key areas of cooperation include the development of e-commerce platforms leveraging cloud computing and artificial intelligence, enhanced processing capabilities through Huawei Kunpeng and Ascend servers, and support for mobile payment solutions, including the integration and expansion of Yassir Cash. The initiative also targets smart mobility, digital supply chains, and telecommunications, contributing to Algeria's broader digital transformation agenda.
