Hewlett Packard Enterprise HPE has expanded its GreenLake cloud portfolio to help enterprises modernize IT infrastructure and meet rising AI and hybrid cloud demands. With over 80 of companies re-evaluating workload deployment strategies due to cost pressures, licensing changes, and hybrid cloud adoption, HPE aims to provide tools that reduce operational complexity while enabling secure, agile, and high-performance IT environments.
The company introduced enhancements to HPE Morpheus Software, including HPE Morpheus VM Essentials, which supports multi-hypervisor environments and reduces virtual machine licensing costs by up to 90. The platform integrates zero-trust security with software-defined networking, automated network provisioning via HPE Juniper Networking, and stretched cluster technology with synchronous replication to ensure uninterrupted operations. Full support for Kubernetes and containerized workloads enables enterprises to run cloud-native applications alongside traditional virtual machines, while integration with HPE Zerto and Veeam software provides continuous data protection and rapid recovery for critical workloads.
HPE also advanced its hybrid cloud and AI capabilities with partnerships and innovations aimed at secure, scalable operations. The HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 Data Intelligence Nodes leverage NVIDIA AI reference designs to enrich data in real time for AI pipelines. HPE Private Cloud AI now supports NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell GPUs, STIG-hardened and FIPS-enabled AI software, and tools to simplify AI deployment. Complementing these, HPE announced next-generation backup solutions, including StoreOnce 5720 and 7700 appliances, offering high-speed data protection, faster recovery, and integration with HPE Alletra Storage MP and HPE SimpliVity.
