Just a Drop has partnered with IHG Hotels Resorts to support safe water projects around the world. The partnerships Water for All initiative will initially be piloted in voco Johannesburg Rosebank, South Africa, and four other international voco hotels.

The partnership aligns with voco hotels sustainability mantra, step by step, and their provision of complimentary filtered water in hotel guestrooms. Voco Johannesburg Rosebank will donate a portion of the proceeds made from filtered water sales at the hotel front desk.

Just a Drop, which brings sustainable safe water, sanitation and hygiene projects to communities, will use voco Johannesburg Rosebanks donations to fund its project at Kawala Primary School in Kenya, where children will be supported with a rainwater harvesting tank, handwashing stations, and comprehensive hygiene training.

Jessica Redinger, GM of voco Johannesburg Rosebank, said: We understand that making a positive impact goes hand-in-hand with delivering exceptional guest experiences. Community support is central to our values, and we recognise that our guests share our commitment to responsible travel. We're proud to help bring positive change to Kawala Primary School in Kenya and look forward to the benefits this project will bring.

Just a Drops Founder and Chair, Fiona Jeffery OBE, said: The Just a Drop team is absolutely thrilled to be working with IHG Hotels Resorts and voco hotels on this initiative, which has so much potential for good and will be truly transformational in its provision of safe water to local communities.

Across the world, a child dies every two minutes from dirty water, so the impact that Water for All will have cannot be understated, and we look forward to sharing the results from the programme very soon. We cant wait to see this initiative rolled out across voco properties in the UK, Singapore, South Africa, and Australia.

The project supports IHGs Journey to Tomorrow commitments to improve the lives of 30 million people by 2030, and to ensure adequate water, sanitation, and hygiene conditions in operating communities.
