High Court Has No Jurisdiction Over Cholota's Extradition Claims: Npa

The National Prosecuting Authority NPA maintains that the Free State High Court has no jurisdiction to entertain former Premier Ace Magashules Personal Assistant, Moroadi Cholotas claims that her extradition was unlawful.
Cholota was granted a trial within a trial in which she wants to prove that the processes of bringing her back to South Africa were flawed.
She is among the 18 accused in the case related to a R250 million asbestos roofing contract.
NPA Spokesperson, Mthunzi Mhaga says, "So we are ready to proceed with it, but of importance is the fact that many should understand that this court cannot sit as a court reviewing the extradition order or judgement of the United States of America USA. It doesnt have that jurisdiction, because that order stands and it has not been appealed upon in the United States of America. So, she was legally extradited to South Africa."
