The chosen venue has a capacity of 45,500, forming a good setting for the Buccaneers to lift a trophy that has eluded them in recent years.
They last won the Carling Knockout in 2011 when it was known as Telkom Knockout. They will look to end the drought and win a cup double in the process, having already won this seasons MTN8.
The Bucs have been in fine form in the competition, edging Siwelele 1-0 in the round of 16 and Magesi 2-1 in the quarterfinals in October. They similarly got past Richards Bay 1-0 in their semifinal game at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
