Residents and visitors in various parts of the Western Cape are being urged to prepare for extreme heat as the South African Weather Service has issued a very hot and uncomfortable weather advisory, warning that temperatures could climb into the mid to high 30s, reports Cape town Etc .
According to the advisory , the affected areas include sections of the West Coast and Cape Winelands districts in the Western Cape, as well as the Kamiesberg municipality in the Northern Cape.
The alert came into effect from 8am on Monday, 24 November, and remains in place until 8pm this evening.
