The Green Point Common has officially been designated as a Provincial Heritage Site. The unveiling of the Provincial Heritage Site badge took place on Thursday, during a ceremonial event hosted by Heritage Western Cape HWC.
This landmark recognition underscores the Western Cape Government's dedication to conserving its rich and diverse heritage, particularly significant to surrounding communities.
The ceremony drew a diverse group of attendees, including representatives from the Western Cape Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport DCAS, HWC, and key community stakeholders.
