The iconic GrandWest in Cape Town is set to undergo a significant transformation with the announcement of a new shopping mall, which will enhance its already vibrant entertainment precinct, Cape town Etc reports.
The leading developer Flanagan Gerard unveiled plans for the R600 million GrandWest Mall, a project that promises to add around 60 retail outlets directly connected to the casino complex.
Construction of the 22 000m shopping centre is slated to commence in September 2025, with an anticipated opening in March 2027. The mall aims to elevate the comprehensive leisure and retail offerings at GrandWest, introducing a community-focused hub that combines various shopping options with an unparalleled entertainment experience.
