The Polokwane Specialised Commercial Crimes Court, in Limpopo, has set the trial date in the corruption case of two senior Hawks officers, accused of covering a politically related murder case.
The case against Captain Virginia Kupa and Brigadier Mapone Mohajane has been postponed to the second of February for pre-trial and trial.
The two allegedly asked the investigating officer to dismiss evidence that could link former African National Congress ANC Member of Provincial Legislature, Tally Mashamaite, to the murder of Mogalakwena Councillor, Vaaltyn Kekana.
