The Gauteng Department of Education says it is saddened by the loss of a Grade 12 learner from Lakeside Secondary School in Sedibeng West, who tragically passed away last night.
According to reports, the learner began vomiting in her sleep and her condition worsened.
She was rushed to a nearby medical facility, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
