The Gambia Revenue Authority GRA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding MoU with First Bank Gambia Limited to strengthen national revenue collection systems and improve digital payment efficiency across the country.
The signing ceremony, held at the GRA headquarters, represents a significant milestone in the Authority's collaboration with the financial sector to ensure smooth, transparent, and timely remittance of taxes and other public revenues.
The agreement aims to modernize GRA's operations by reducing manual tax payment processes and enabling taxpayers to make direct payments through banks, minimizing delays and administrative bottlenecks. This partnership is expected to accelerate the Authority's ongoing digital transformation efforts while enhancing service delivery for taxpayers.
