The Government of Gabon, through the Ministry of Digital Economy, Digitalisation and Innovation, has launched the "One Student, One Computer" program aimed at strengthening digital inclusion and youth empowerment. The initiative, led under the direction of President Brice Clotaire Oligui Nguema, represents a major step in the country's strategy to equip students with the tools needed to thrive in the modern digital world.

As part of the program, 10,000 computers are being distributed to students across the country. This effort underscores the government's determination to place young people at the center of Gabon's digital development and to create equal opportunities for access to technology.

In addition to the distribution of computers, the initiative featured educational and interactive panels that brought together students, digital professionals, influencers, and youth with disabilities. These sessions were designed to promote dialogue, share experiences, and encourage collaboration between young people and key actors in Gabon's digital ecosystem.
