University and TVET college students and township entrepreneurs across South Africa are set to benefit from a new Memorandum of Understanding MoU between the Takealot Group and the Department of Higher Education and Training DHET.
DHET Deputy Minister Dr Mimmy Gondwe and Takealot CEO Frederik Zietsman signed the MoU on Wednesday 17 September at the Groups Distribution Centre in Kempton Park, Johannesburg.
DHET and Takealot sign MoUThe MoU aims to bridge the gap between education and employment by offering industry-relevant skills training and e-commerce business opportunities to young people through the Takealot Township Economy Initiative, the two entities said in a joint statement .
