Ghanas richest investor Daniel Ofori has added 12.3 million to his fortune in just two months, thanks to recent gains in his stake in GCB Bank. The increase highlights both his influence in the local market and the lenders central role in Ghanas financial system.
Ofori gains 12.3 million in two months
Ofori owns a 7.5 percent stake in the bank, equivalent to 19,867,154 shares. In the last two months alone, the value of his holdings rose by GH136.55 million 12.33 million, bringing his total position to an estimated 34.06 million, according to data from the Ghana Stock Exchange.
