The Minister of Communications, Hon. Samuel Nartey George MP, has issued a three-day ultimatum to MultiChoice Ghana , operators of DSTV, to reduce subscription prices by September 6, 2025, or risk suspension.

Speaking at the Digital Africa Summit in Accra, the Minister stressed that government would not retreat from its position on pricing. He further revealed that MultiChoice has an outstanding fine of GHC150,000 for failing to submit required pricing data.

The directive adds pressure on the pay-TV operator as authorities move to enforce compliance and protect consumer interests in Ghana's digital broadcasting space.
