Chaos erupted in Mitchells Plain when a series of shooting incidents left five individuals dead and seven others injured in a chilling sequence of events on Thursday afternoon, reports Cape town Etc .
The violence, linked to ongoing gang activity, has triggered a manhunt as Western Cape police seek to apprehend those responsible.
The first shooting occurred around 12:30pm within a tuck-shop in Beacon Valley, where gunfire resulted in the tragic deaths of two people, while three others sustained injuries.
Shortly thereafter, another shooting incident in a separate tuck-shop nearby mirrored this tragedy, claiming one additional life and injuring three others.
A third victim was reported wounded in a separate shooting within the same vicinity, highlighting the dangerous escalation of violence.
