Fuel prices in South Africa are expected to rise in July after four months of declines, driven by a spike in international oil prices.
According to end-of-month figures from the Central Energy Fund CEF, petrol prices are expected to increase by 50 cents for 93 Unleaded and 53 cents for 95 Unleaded.
Diesel prices are also projected to rise, with 500ppm likely going up by 82 cents and 500ppm by 84 cents.
Following the increases, South Africans can expect to pay R21.09 per litre of 95 Unleaded at the coast and R21.88 inland, with 93 Unleaded costing around R21.74.
The wholesale price of 50ppm diesel is likely to rise to around R18.65 at the coast and R19.41 inland.
