The South African Police Union SAPU in the Free State has described the loss of three constables as a sad day for the union .
Speaking at the official memorial service in Bloemfontein, SAPU second vice president Peter Ntsime says the death of constables Boipelo Senoge, Keamogetswe Buys and Cebekhulue Linda is still hard to accept.
Their remains were retrieved from the Hennops River in Centurion, Gauteng, after they went missing on the 23rd of April.
Ntsime says the memorial will allow the families to have closure as they prepare to bury their loved ones.
SAPS is losing a lot of members in this case due to whatever the investigation will outline. But members of the South African police service are being killed, and every time we lose a member, what comes to our mind is that again one of our members has been killed.
