Former Manchester City defender Benjamin Mendy has reportedly agreed to join Polish side Pogon Szczecin FC on two year contract.
Softfootball understood that the France International abruptly parted ways with Swiss side Zurich at the end of July after making just eight appearances for the club, and the least that could be said about Mendys six-month spell in Switzerland, is that very few people will regret the 2018 World Cup winner's exit.
He only played eight games, but started only three. Mendy's time will be remembered by several high-profile on-pitch blunders. He did not deliver what was expected of a player of his status.
