Trade union Solidaritys Secretary-General Gideon du Plessis says it is ridiculous that pilots had to strike to get what they deserved, and as a result, pilots lost 12 days of remuneration.
This comes as the FlySafair pilots strike comes to an end on Friday after an agreement was reached with airline management.
Du Plessis says pilots will get a 6 wage increase in the first year, to 6.9 in the final year, over 4 years.

In a statement, FlySafir says all its aircraft will return to active duty with schedules being normalised.
