Following the Bank of Ghana's recent suspension of certain remittance services, Flutterwave has issued a statement clarifying its position. The company noted that the directive pertains only to inbound remittances through its SendApp platform. Flutterwave emphasized that all other services under its Payment Service Provider PSP licence, including Flutterwave for Business, remain fully operational in Ghana.

The company expressed surprise at the directive, stating it believes the issue stems from a misunderstanding. Flutterwave is actively engaging with the Bank of Ghana and its banking partner to clarify the matter and work toward a swift resolution. The firm reaffirmed its commitment to regulatory compliance and to providing reliable services to its customers.

"Our priority remains the provision of reliable services to our customers in full alignment with regulatory requirements," the company said, emphasising its commitment to compliance and the trust of its users.
