Firefighters are working together to control a fire that started near the Pipe Track hiking area on Table Mountain. The fire is located above Imizamo Yethu in Hout Bay, and officials have quickly deployed both ground and air resources to respond to the situation, Cape townEtc reports.
According to SANParks, fire management teams within Table Mountain National Park mobilised shortly after the blaze was detected.
Ground crews were dispatched first, supported soon after by aerial firefighting resources tasked with assisting containment efforts from above.
