Former Manchester United defender, Quinton Fortune, has said that Cristiano Ronaldo could jump on the opportunity to return to the club.
Cristiano, a legend at Old Trafford, having had two outstanding stints at the club, would be returning not as a player but as a part owner, according to Fortune.
Ronaldo, who joined the Red Devils in the summer of 2003, won his very first Ballon d'Or while at the club.
In his six years under manager, Alex Ferguson, at Old Trafford, the Portuguese became one of the worlds best players.
During this period, the legendary Portuguese netted 118 times and won three straight Premier League and one UEFA Champions League title.
