The 2026 FIFA World Cup draw will take place today at the John F. Kennedy Centre for the Performing Arts in Washington DC, US. The scheduled start time in South Africa is 19:00.
There are four pots in the draw, each comprising 12 teams. Hosts Canada, Mexico and the USA are in pot 1, and the 39 remaining qualified teams are distributed across the four pots according to the FIFA Men's World Ranking issued on Wednesday, 19 November 2025.
The two FIFA World Cup 2026 Play-Off Tournament placeholders and the four European play-off placeholders are allocated to pot 4. South Africas Bafana Bafana are in pot 3.
