FG Plans Inaugural Cybersecurity Conference

The Federal Government has announced plans to host the first-ever National Cybersecurity Conference as part of efforts to strengthen Nigerias digital defences and foster a secure technology ecosystem.

The disclosure was made in a statement on Sunday by the National Information Technology Development Agency, which is organising the event in collaboration with the Office of the National Security Adviser.

Scheduled to take place from July 9 to 10, 2025, at the Abuja Continental Hotel, the conference is themed Securing Nigerias Digital Future: Innovation, Collaboration, and Resilience.

According to the Director-General of NITDA, the event underscores the Federal Governments commitment to building cyber resilience and safeguarding national digital infrastructure as Nigeria accelerates its transition to a technology-driven economy.
