The Federal Government FG, yesterday, urged International Oil Companies IOCs operating in Nigeria to take concrete steps to ramp up crude oil production, following the countrys ambitious target of reaching 2.5 million barrels per day by 2027.
Nigerias daily average oil production stood at about 1.6 million barrels per day in 2025, a significant shortfall from the budget benchmark of 2.06 million barrels per day.
