FC Porto have made their stance loud and clear: Deniz Gul isn't going anywhere. Despite increasing interest from several Turkish sides, and even a couple of Belgian teams poking around, Porto remain fully committed to keeping the 21-year-old forward at the Estadio do Drago.
Softfootball reports from late September 2025 revealed that the club flat-out rejected those enquiries, seeing Gul not just as a squad piece, but as a long-term project they genuinely believe in.
Gul arrived from Hammarby in 2024 for around 4.5 million, and Porto wasted no time in protecting their investment. The youngster is tied down until 2029 and carries a hefty 50 million release clause, a number that pretty much screams, 'We trust this guy's ceiling.
