A shooting that occurred during a late - night drive - by in Salt River resulted in one person dying , another being injured , and three suspects being taken into police custody . The incident developed quickly as officers identified and located individuals they believe were connected to the attack .
According to Smile FM , police confirmed that the fatal incident occurred at around 10:40pm on 8 April at the corner of Burns and Pope Streets, where several men had been gathered when a vehicle approached and gunfire erupted.
Authorities say the suspects were later apprehended following a targeted response by specialised police units.
