The Aminu Sani Jaji faction of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has insisted that the Zamfara State party chairman, Tukur Umar Danfulani, and other members who were suspended by their wards due to an internal crisis remain suspended.
Speaking at a stakeholders meeting in Gusau, the state capital, Alhaji Isiyaku Ajiya Anka, who claimed to be the Acting Chairman of the APC in the state, said Danfulani and his group divided the party into different camps and denied other State Executive Committee members of the party their rights.
According to him, most members of the APC in the state were denied the chance of participating in the partys activities.
Speaking further, he said, It is in view of this that we called this stakeholders meeting in order to discuss issues for the unity and overall development of our great party in the state, as well as provide avenue for solving the problems and challenges currently facing the party in the state.
We therefore want to call on the security agencies and the National Headquarters of our party to prevent these individuals from parading themselves as the leaders of the party henceforth.
