Como head coach, Cesc Fabregas, has turned down a move to Bayer Leverkusen.
Leverkusen is considering Fabregas as a replacement for the outgoing Xabi Alonso.
After working as an assistant coach where Como secured promotion to Serie A in the 2023-24 campaign, Fabregas is now close to securing a top-half finish in the Italian top flight.
As a result of his impressive work, the former Spain midfielder has attracted interest from several top European clubs.
Fabregas, however, has rejected Leverkusens offer and decided to honour his existing contract that runs until 2028.
